You got a lotta nerve To say you are my friend When I was down You just stood there grinning. You got a lotta nerve To say you got a helping hand to lend You just want to be on The side thats winning. You see me on the street You always act surprised You say, How are you Good luck But you dont mean it. When you know as well as me Youd rather see me paralyzed Why dont you just come out once And scream it. 2019 г. Positively 4th Street by Bob Dylan Listen to Bob Dylan: https. Dylan's pen has never been so poisonous. Offset by a very gentle arrangement. "You've got a lot of nerve to say you are my friend..." We've heard this line before (he snarls it at the end of "Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window?").

Dylan's songs of human relationships, intimate or otherwise, are much more successful and moving than his 'protest' material. A Zimmerman classic!
